Ask Your Pharmacist about Alzheimers – June 2010
The Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU) and Western Alzheimers have joined forces to encourage people to ‘Ask Your Pharmacist about Alzheimers’ and support Western Alzheimers in Counties Mayo, Galway and Roscommon.
What is the aim of the campaign?
Following recent coverage on the Prime Time and The Frontline TV programmes, many people have contacted Western Alzheimers asking for help. Western Alzheimers would like to raise awareness of Alzheimers and encourage people to help by joining Western Alzheimers’ Lotto and help “Share the Care”.
The campaign is supported by all pharmacies and the media.
Each pharmacy will display leaflets containing information on how you can join Western Alzheimers weekly Lotto.
How can you take part and help?
Complete the Western Alzheimers Lotto Leaflet – in your local pharmacy – for three months, six months or a year and return it to Western Alzheimers Head Office (details on the leaflet) or if you need information on the services available or make a donation contact us directly.
