A Carer’s Experience: Martin McDonnell

At Western Alzheimers we endeavour to share the care enabling Primary carers to have a well needed break & ensure that those living with dementia can enjoy a meaningful life as an active member of the community for as long as possible.  Martin McDonnell shares his experience of caring for his mother who was living with Alzheimers disease. He candidly recalls the various stages of the disease and his determination to care for her at home.
