Charity Shop Castlebar | Volunteers Required

Our charity shop in Castlebar sell great quality second-hand clothes, shoes, household items, books and a large selection of bric-a-brac. The proceeds of the shops go towards Western Alzheimers services.
We rely heavily on volunteers to support our charity shops. Each hour you volunteer will help to fund these life changing services.

What’s Involved

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help with:
1. Working on the shop floor and sorting room
2. Maintaining shop floor standards
3. Serving and interacting with customers
4. Organising and cleaning the furniture/homewares for sale in the shop
5. Creating window displays and sharing photos on social media.

Time Commitment
If you are interested, you will be able to discuss times mutually suitable for you to work. Shifts are normally three hours morning or afternoon, but even less time can be a big help. The manager will give you a simple form to fill and you will work either with her or with an experienced volunteer for three shifts. If you are happy to continue, you will be signed in as a volunteer.
