Lumenia Consulting Donate €7500!

Galway based consultants, Lumenia Consulting run a ‘Charity of the Year’ initiative as part of its corporate social responsibility programme and to give something back to the community. Employees are given the opportunity to nominate their chosen charity and the selected charity is chosen by employee vote.

The 2024 Lumenia Charity of the Year winner is Western Alzheimer’s, receiving a donation of €7,500. The Western Alzheimer’s charity was nominated by Lumenia employee, Aislin Le Provost, a keen supporter of the Alzheimer’s associations.

Western Alzheimer’s was set up in 1996 as a direct response to the lack of support and services available to people living with dementia in the west of Ireland. They offer families the choice of care supports and facilities which include, respite care, day care, in-home care in the person’s home as well as residential care.

Like many charities, financing of their services is an on-going concern. This donation will help them with the continuation of their much needed and valued services to dementia patients.
