On Friday June 16th last a group of people generously gave up their time to meet at Croagh Patrick, do the climb while fundraising to raise vital funds and raise awareness of families living with dementia.

The comraderie, the spirit of giving and humbleness was truly beautiful to be a part of.

What Peak of the Reek involves!

We are seeking people to take on the Peak of the Reek challenge which involves climbing Croagh Patrick while also raising funds for Western Alzheimers to support the provision of services in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. The target for each participant is to raise a minimum of €1000 through sponsorship of their climb of Croagh Patrick. We are appealing for participants to help make a difference in the lives of our most vulnerable.

We will support you with step-by-step instructions on setting up your fundraising page on iDonate. We will also provide Sponsorship Cards and Posters to help with your fundraising endeavours.
You will be sent personalized information with clickable links for you to share with your email and phone contacts. The date for 2024 is to be decided. If you wish to be part of 2023 Peak of the Reek you or/and friends/family/ colleagues can still take part on a date that suits you. Our idonate page is open until September 30th. We have goody bags for each participant.
